- Communicate about voting in your congregation

- Host 1-2 entry level Get Out The Vote (GOTV) events
- Host a Postcard Writing Party

- Challenge 100% registered voters within the congregation and think of a creative way to emphasize it (ie. thermometer to show what percentage of the congregation is registered).
- Identify specific groups and brainstorm ways to reach out to them
- Examples:
- Shut-ins – have a team of people call your shut-ins and ask if they are registered and/or need help voting
- Young adults – host a special voter engagement event/forum targeted at young adults
- Send out birthday cards to all 18 year olds and remind them to vote
- Examples:
- Host voter registration events for your congregants
- Clergy gives a GOTV sermon within a scheduled service
- Education on why local elections matter and why your vote matters
- Create “Adopt a Voter” program
- Offer rides to the polls for congregants
